What if you lost your job, barely had enough money to buy food, and you just ran out of diapers for your baby? What if your rent is due and your last pay check will be spent covering only that? For many of our clients,“What if” is a current reality.
What if you could help them without even leaving the comfort of your own home?
While our office is currently not seeing clients, we are partnering with Mountain Christian Church at the Epicenter and Abingdon campuses. Knowing that many of our clients attend the food giveaways there, we are working with them to get out needed resources, such as diapers and wipes. This also minimizes the amount of contact people will have to get the resources that they need.
On Friday, March 27, Choose Hope Women’s Center delivered 170 packs of diapers and 100 packs of wipes to those centers. They were distributed on Saturday, March 28 at Abingdon and Monday, March 30 at Epicenter. They had cars line up to get the needed items. The response was huge – they were so grateful! You are a part of this as someone who prays for and supports our ministry faithfully.
What if I told you we need your help?
April 17 is the next food giveaway at the Epicenter in Edgewood. While we gave the majority of diapers and wipes that we had at our center, we do not have enough to continue to meet the need. We need your help. And you can help meet this need without even leaving your home.
Order a box of diapers or wipes from Amazon or Target and simply have it shipped to our Choose Hope Women’s Center office by April 15, 2020. We will make sure the items are received at the office and distributed to the community. The greatest need is for diapers size 3, 4, 5 & 6. You can help a family in need, in a very tangible way, from the comfort of your living room!
What if HOPE and ENCOURAGEMENT looked like a pack of DIAPERS and WIPES in a desperate time?

Let us keep praying for God to stop this pandemic and to heal our land. And until He does, let us use the resources He has blessed us with to help those in need.
