We Thank You, Local Marches for Life!

Two Harford County churches blessed Choose Hope Women’s Center with prayers and donations in their own local Marches for Life.

Due to the pandemic, the 2021 March for Life in Washington, D.C., was a virtual event. Instead of traveling to the nation’s capital, pro-life Americans were asked to stay close to home and promote the protection of life there.

St. Margaret Parish in Bel Air and Fellowship Chapel in Jarrettsville were two churches that held their own Marches for Life on January 29. People gathered together and marched around Bel Air, praying for an end to abortion. They also prayed for families facing unplanned pregnancies and the people who help them. Both marches visited the Choose Hope Women’s Center office and prayed outside. They brought with them large donations of diapers, wipes, and other baby items to help struggling families. The Marches had an immediate impact for Choose Hope Women’s Center clients. Because of the large volume of donations, Choose Hope Women’s Center is able to give clients more diapers and wipes than previously.

The volunteers and staff were impacted as well by the marches. Executive director Stephanie Atha said that these two marches were beautiful, emotional events. “When you see other people take up your mission, take time out of their day, and stand in solidarity with you, it means so much.”
